Mark Bennett the 2004 / 2005 & 2006 South Australian championship runner up, first started karting in 1996 on bitumen, which mark was unaccustomed to, as all of his previous racing was done on dirt. Mark has a background in racing moto-x bikes and speedway & long track sidecars. Mark made the switch back to dirt racing in 1997. He soon showed his full potential winning the York Peninsula Dirt Kart Club Title in his first full season of competitive racing. Mark Finished the 2003 season with the Australia #3 plate, and since then he has consistently finished on the podium at most race meetings contested. The M#02 team is now in transition mode, as the team prepares to change over to speedway racing in the NOS Sprints class. Watch this space for further developments!
